Every spring, Brooklana Angus opens its program to the market.

Not because it's what studs do. But because after years of deliberate, patient genetic work - selecting proven sires, protecting elite females, running an embryo program built on the best maternal genetics in the Australasian Angus breed - the results deserve to be seen.

Our 12th Annual Bull Sale is on 3rd August 2026 at 12 noon.

And this year, we believe it's our strongest offering yet.

How This Sale Is Different

There's a saying we come back to often here at Brooklana: Success Leaves Clues.

The bulls in this year's catalogue aren't the product of one good season or one fortunate mating. They are the result of a breeding philosophy that stretches back over a decade - through the acquisition of Millah Murrah Prue M4 for a then-record $190,000 in 2017, through the careful selection of sires like Matauri Reality 839, Millah Murrah Rocket Man R38, Te Mania Emperor E343 and Millah Murrah Kruse Time K400, and through an embryo program that now runs 100+ implants per year from the most proven maternal lines in the breed.

When you buy a bull at Brooklana, you're not buying potential.

You're buying preparation.

What's On Offer

This year's sale includes some of the most significant offerings in Brooklana's history.

Brooklana Emperor V74 - Te Mania Emperor E343 son, out of Brooklana Prue S5. 533-day ADG of 1.78kg. Calving ease EBVs that make him heifer-safe. Claw set EBVs in the top 20% of the breed. A bull that looks like a sire should look - and performs to match.

Brooklana Emperor V5 and V10 - Two sons of Millah Murrah Kruse Time K400, out of Brooklana Prue S8 - a sensational granddaughter of Millah Murrah Prue M4. Pedigrees built on proven foundations, with the phenotype to back it up.

V6 and V7 - For the first time in Brooklana's history, we are offering a breeding-aged son and daughter of Millah Murrah Prue M4 and Millah Murrah Rocket Man R38. Two animals that represent the result of a $470,000 investment and years of careful, deliberate planning. Opportunities like this simply do not come around often - and we expect significant interest.

Where and How to Attend

The sale is held at our on-farm cattle yards at 244 Whitneys Road, Brooklana NSW - on the Eastern Dorrigo plateau in northern NSW - commencing at 12 noon on 3rd August 2026. Online bidding will also be available for those who can't make the trip in person.

We'd strongly encourage anyone seriously considering our genetics to attend the Open Day on 20th July first, running from 11am to 3pm. Walk the paddocks. See the animals. Ask the questions. That's what it's there for.
